Description

Biryani/Pulav can either be a Veg or a Non Veg preparation usually made during special occassions. The origins of this blend can be traced back to the Mughal era.

It is a whole meal by it self, and is almost always the Centre-piece of most Indin dinner parties. Is usually served with curry and raita (curd spiked with fresh green herbs) A delicious plate of biryani is incomplete without the right spices and Aliz Shahi Biryani Masala adds that expert touch to your plate of biryani. The perfect balance of exotic spices.

Shopping List:

  • Chicken / Meat Cubes - 300g
  • Rice - 300g
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
  • Salt - TO taste
  • Curd - 2 Tbsp
  • Onion - 2 Nos medium
  • Potato - 2 Nos medium
  • Oil - 2 1/2 Tbsp
  • Aliz Biryani Masala - 1 Packet

Cooking Instruction:

  1. Wash chicken / mutton cubes, add ginger-garlic paste & salt, pressure cooker for 15 minutes.
  2. Fry onion till crisp (Golden Brown).
  3. Mix Aliz Shahi Biryani Masala, Curd, Potato, Onion and oil with the chicken / mutton cubes and keep aside.
  4. Boil rice adding salt, remove water from it, add boiled rice with the above mixture, cook covered for 20 minutes & serve hot.
  5. TIp : For best result, Wash the chicken with salt in water.
