Description:

An authentic Kashmiri meal would be incomplete without this potato dish, known commonly in India as 'Dum Aloo'. Slow cooked in a lovely velvety base of Onion, tomato , cashew and flavoured with skilful spices.

Shopping List:

  • 250 gm / 10-12 nos. Baby Potatos, Boiled & Fried in Oil
  • 2 Medium Tomato Puree
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Cup / 100 ml Water
  • Aliz Kashmiri Dum Aloo Mix 1 Packet

Cooking Instruction:

  1. Make a paste of Aliz Kashmiri Dum Aloo Mix with 1 cup of Water.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, saute for 3 minutes,add tomato puree & cook till ghee oozes out
  3. Add paste & cook for 3 minutes
  4. Add Fried Potatoes & water,cook till the gravy thickens & garnish with Coriander leaves & serve hot.
