Palak paneer is a vegetarian dish, consisting of paneer (a type of cottage cheese) in a thick paste made from spinach (palak), called palak in Hindi.An onion based gravy, flavoured with garlic, green chilli and cumin, it is a treat for the senses!

Shopping List:

  • 200 gm Paneer,cut into cubes
  • 400 gm Palak Puree
  • 2 Medium Tomato Puree
  • 1 Medium Onion, Chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil / 45 gm
  • 1/2 Cut Water
  • Aliz Palak Paneer Mix 1 Packet

Cooking Instruction:

  1. Make a paste of Aliz Palak Paneer Mix with 1/2 cup of water.
  2. Boil Palak for 5 minutes and make Palak Puree.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saute for 3 minutes,Add Tomato Puree and cook till the oil oozes out.
  4. Add paste and cook for 3 minutes, and Palak Puree & cook for 3 minutes,Add Paneer and water,cook till the gravy thickens,garnis with fresh cream and serve hot.
